PiiComm is selected for FedDev Ontario investment for Growth and Job Creation

May 13th, 2024 marked a significant milestone as the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), under the leadership of the Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible, celebrated a $5.3 million investment in four thriving businesses, one of which was PiiComm Inc. These investments not only foster growth opportunities but also pave the way for the creation of nearly 50 skilled jobs across southern Ontario.

Driving Innovation in Managed Mobility Services

PiiComm, is a proud recipient of FedDev Ontario’s support. With a repayable investment exceeding $1.7 million, PiiComm has significantly expanded its on-site technology capabilities, expanded operations, and introduced a cutting-edge, AI-based mobility assessment tool. In doing so, PiiComm has grown its support for Canadian businesses in the transportation, logistics, healthcare, and government sectors to overcome challenges associated with operationalizing, managing, and scaling their mobile technology. Moreover, PiiComm’s expansion efforts have resulted in the creation of over 20 skilled jobs in Plantagenet and neighboring communities.
