OTTAWA, June 4, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — PiiComm Inc. today announced the addition of Martin Duguay, B.Eng, to their sales organization to manage strategic accounts. Mr. Duguay has received accolades throughout his career including being recognized by Motorola Solutions Inc. as their worldwide sales professional of the year. At PiiComm, he will be responsible for managing relationships with large and strategic customer accounts in Eastern Canada with a consultative and solutions orientated approach.
Mr. Duguay brings extensive sales and technical knowledge to the organization with his experience as a Systems Consultant in the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) and Wireless industry for over ten years with Motorola Solutions Inc. leveraging Bar Code, RFID, Mobile Computing and Wireless networking technologies.
Previously, Mr. Duguay joined Symbol Technologies’ Professional Services team in 1995 providing consulting services for projects with the Canadian Department of National Defense (DND), defense contractors and Postal Authorities at Canada Post Corporation in Ottawa, Canada. Prior to joining Symbol technologies, Mr. Duguay was a founding member of Monarch Marking Canada’s systems support team where he consulted on barcode technologies, RF data transactions and printing technologies.

Mr. Duguay continues to reside in Montreal with his Wife and 4 children and is pursuing a Project Management Professional certificate (PMP) and holds a bachelor of Electrical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal. He is a member of Quebec’s order of Professional Engineers.
